As widely known, enrollment in daycare in Tokyo is not easy because more and more mothers get back to work after their childcare leave and there is not enough number of daycares. And to enroll a child, you need to understand the complicated system and prepare required application forms. If some information is missing, you are not qualified as a candidate.

If you are non-Japanese and having difficulty in reading Japanese, we are happy to assist you with understanding the system, acknowledging your status in the system and presenting you available options such as authorized daycare (Ninka Hoikuen), Certified daycare (Ninsyo Hoikuen),  Unauthorized daycare (Ninkagai Hoikuen), Childcare room(Hoikushitsu),  Daycare for sick children(Byoujihoiku) and baby sitters etc. Then, complete documents required such as your IDs, work certificate, your working stuations, families, child health etc. Make an appointment to visit the ward office if necessary, and file applications with you.
